How do perps prop firm payouts work?

Once you're funded, you request your share of the profit. Most firms want you flat, with no open positions, when you request. Vest pays in USDC, My Funded Perps pays through Rise, and Tradeify 247 through Rise or in USDC. E8 doesn't say how for perps.

From each firm's own docs and help center.

Which perps prop firm pays out fastest?

Vest credits each claim to your Vest account within 24 hours, and Tradeify 247 promises 24 hours or an extra $1,000, usually 1 to 2 business days. E8 Pro lets you request every day. My Funded Perps reviews each payout manually.

Which firm has the best profit split?

E8 is the only one where you can buy a 100% split: 80%, 90% or 100% on E8 One, 80% or 100% on E8 Pro. Vest's instant accounts pay 95%. Tradeify 247 goes to 95% with a paid add-on. Vest's custom 1-step goes from 70% to 95%, and My Funded Perps goes to 90% if you pay for the higher split at checkout.

How soon can I take my first payout?

E8 Pro's first payout can come in as little as 0 days and E8 One's in 3. Tradeify 247's 2-step funded accounts need 3 profitable days of 0.5% or more first. The others don't list minimum trading days before a payout. You need a funded account, profit above any minimum, and at most firms no open positions.

What happens to my drawdown after a payout?

It depends on the firm, and it matters. At My Funded Perps the floor locks at your starting balance, so you can't dip back into the buffer you had.

What a payout does to your account.
FirmAfter a payout
VestThe max drawdown floor doesn't move, and the daily loss floor drops by the amount withdrawn.
My Funded PerpsThe drawdown floor locks at the starting balance for good.
Tradeify 247Instant: your first payout locks the drawdown floor at your starting balance for good. 1-step and 2-step: no lock.
E8 ProThe static drawdown only moves when you request your first payout.

Do I need KYC?

At My Funded Perps, yes: before your funded account goes live, usually with a photo ID and a selfie. You don't need it to buy an evaluation. Tradeify 247 asks for KYC after you pass an evaluation, or at purchase on instant accounts. Vest's and E8's perps docs don't say.

Is there a cap on payouts or funding?

Funding caps: My Funded Perps goes to $300K across accounts, and Vest allows up to 10 live funded accounts. E8 says there are no payout caps on E8 One or E8 Pro. Tradeify 247 caps funded accounts at $300K combined, with no max per payout.
